A current film production and an article in the Produktion reveal the reasons for the successful completion of the change process in the S + P implemented Benchmark Factory of Aesculap in Tuttlingen, which produces implants. In a Learning Cell with 350 workers, change processes were tested in daily operations and optimized. The consequence is a high sustainability of the results, lead time and inventory reductions and an overall understanding of the change process. The staff at Aesculap has internalized the principle of “creating value with every movement”. Particularly interesting are the various views of the Executive Board, the plant manager, the middle management, workers and their consultant on the change process. back
